I rotated the tires on my 1999 Accord, front to back.
Now I hear a rubbing sound in the rear.
Could that be trouble, like an bearing or something?

Re: rubbing sound Sign In

All things equal that shouldn't be a direct cause of a noise. Are tires the right size?

What might have happened is just the loosen and tighten of lug nuts could have disturbed a brake parts that was just barely hanging in there. If drum brakes on rear you need to look inside drum for a fallen part inside or if disc just look with wheel back off and spin the hub looking for something.

Sometimes a hardware part or even a chunk of brake lining can break free - gotta get there and look.....
