Sign In It's really more of a low squeal. The wheel bearing has been replaced there is an axle support bearing and I suspect this. How much trouble is it to replace this bearing? I hung the car and spun the axle without the wheel but was unable to positively id the bearing. Sign In I seriously doubt that bearing is your problem. It's not load bearing and I have never seen one go bad. Sign In I removed the pads and rotor and ran the car squeal still there.
