what would cause a 1990 saturn right side Drive Axle - Squeak/Squeal Noise?

what would cause a 1990 saturn right side Drive Axle - Squeak/Squeal Noise? Sign In

It's really more of a low squeal. The wheel bearing has been replaced there is an axle support bearing and I suspect this. How much trouble is it to replace this bearing? I hung the car and spun the axle without the wheel but was unable to positively id the bearing. I removed the serpentine belt so I know it is not engine part ie alt. water pump

I seriously doubt that bearing is your problem. It's not load bearing and I have never seen one go bad. Look at some simple things like possibly the backing plate touching the rotor and maybe the warning sensors on the brakes.

I removed the pads and rotor and ran the car squeal still there. Any more suggestions???

I have replaced the wheel bearing.
