I'm definitely NOT a stereo guy, but...I've heard that the Infinity (stock) speakers are of a different resistance value than most of the aftermarket (8 ohm) speakers.

From what I can gather, your stereo is not built to put out for 3 pairs of speakers. You should have a standard 4 wire setup from back of unit. If you have spliced the rear wires to make back and middle mount, it will not have the power to drive them. you need an amplifier to pull this off.

ok well that could be true because the speakers worked with the old aftermarket stereo but rite now i have 2 150w speakers running on the 4 standered wires i tied them in to each other and they seem to work but now that i have the old aftermarket stereo in they dont work

Hey mate try getting a stereo that is 40x4 Watt or with a larger RMS rating than the one you have at the moment. Might save you an amp.

You will have to work backwards from scratch. Plug RCA leads into unit and then run your wires from your amp. Maybe the amp does not have enough power to run the extra speakers you have in it. Being factory they are build for optimum 4 speaker use. Throwing 6 speakers in the mix could kill it.
