2001 Honda Odyssey No AM sound

I just bought a 2001 Honda Odyssey. The radio FM is fine but AM I get nothing but light static. Any suggestions?

Sounds like an antenna problem. FM is pretty much, line of sight, so you really don't need much of an antenna to receive the signal. Although, the optimum length for FM is 31". Please don't ask why. I have no idea. AM requires the biggest and bestes antenna that you can plug into the radio, depending on distance from transmission, atmospherics, dental fillings, ect. So, to make a long story short, could be a loose antenna connection at the radio or the mast, itself.
