I have a 2002 Rodeo with the factory stereo with 6 CD and cassette player with the factory amplifier. The wiring in the car is different than every diagram I have seen. I have the 4 door speakers plus the tweeters, factory installed amplified subwoofer. The factory radio plug is as follows: Red with white strip and 2 silver rings Red with yellow strip and 1 silver ring Green with red strip and 1 silver ring Red with green strip and no silver rings Red with black strip and 1 silver ring Black with 1 silver ring White with 2 silver rings Yellow with 2 silver rings Green with 2 silver rings Blue with 2 silver rings Orange with 2 silver rings Brown with 2 silver rings Black (larger wire than all others) How do I connect to my new Pioneer stereo. I cannot find a proper pin out for the connector and the wires at the plug are different colors than those at the speakers. Please help, thanks

Life would be a whole lot easier if you just bought a plug n play adapter for the car. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

BTW, I did buy a plug and play (70-7713) and it was incorrect, hence the electrical engineer will direct wire. I appreciate your assistance,

? Not my game but seriously doubt what you had was OE (original equipment) for a "plug and play" adaptor was already fudged up. "Subwoofer with factory amp" and this stuff in a Rodeo? Factory something but not original to the vehicle is what I mean. Now re-figuring what was done you may be up for some serious work if OE plugs and wiring were just cut off, wiring tapped into and how if so? Said not my game as there's so much involved with a freaking sound system as part of the vehicle it's nuts. Have to suggest what is now it's own specialty a place that totally specializes in this and what can be made to work with as much as possible with what you want OUT, T

I looked at that part number and I see nothing that indicates that it was made to adapt to a Pioneer system from factory harness.

OMG! Re-hacking already hacked! Didn't even use the plug-and-play adaptor at all can see all the bird's nest of wires almost would want a new harness and start over, T

Maybe even one of those "beehive" hairdos of the 60s! Not very funny - I know enough that this is a nightmare of cut off plug ends if there could have a chance. No adaptor it's going to take an interface that doesn't exist or not easy to find for a 2002 not sure there ever was one? T

I already gave him a wiring diagram and he says he's an electrical engineer so he should be fine.
