I brought the car to the dealer, he took the radio out & told me nothing could be done, that I would have to buy a new radio. I did some investigating & was informed that if the CD was extracted, the entire CD system had to be re-calibrated. To be perfectly blunt, if I were you I would remove the in dash changer and replace it with an aftermarket single disc player. One more question - I assume that when I replace the multi-changer with a single that the CD stuck in there will come out with the changer? zmame Veteran / Moderator Jul 5, 2011, 3:20 PM Post #4 of 4 (4629 views) Re: 2009 Sonata radio with CD stuck in it Sign In I have done this on a few Escape 6 disk changers: Remove the radio remove the top cover of the radio look down see if you can see a cd sliped out of the sleeves; if so slide it back in with a mini rad pick or small tool.
