You need to check your fuses for blown out ones. Most likely, when the thief cut the wires, some of the wires that have power running through it got shorted out when they touched the metal on the cutters because it got grounded. Make sure none of the wires are exposed and touching each other where the wires are cut, if they are, cap them off or use electrical black tape to tape them off and then check your fuses for blown out ones. Most cars have more than one fuse box, so you may have to check all of them. Some common fuses that are usually the culprit in these situations are, the radio fuse, interior light fuse, ignition fuse, cigarette lighter fuse, there are other ones too, so check your owners manual for the fuse box location and diagram to help you with your search.
