I don't have access to my database at the moment....

With most frt dash panels, if there are mounting screws you can see the holes for them. Alot of panels have a spring type back clips where they pop into place and you just pull on the panel to remove it. With older cars you have to be very careful due to the age, the clips will break......

It's tough to describe but after you've done enough of them, you can get "a feel" by gently pulling on the panel to tell if it has a spring clip or is secured by a hidden (behind another panel) bolt. Spring clips you can feel have more "give" and will snap back into place when pulled on, screw mounted feel more "solid" and don't initially give as much....

Check out Autozone.com, they have a repair section and cover panel removal of some cars...

I just installed a new radio in my95 lumina and there are 2 screws under the steering wheel panel. Remove those and just leave that panel hanging there. Now go to the panel surrounding the radio and that goes over to the left side of the wheel. Just use your fingers and pull outwards until it pops. But Try and do it evenly on both sides. There are a couple places its attached to on both sides. I don't know if you already got help but don't worry too much about the fragility of it. Note: you have to put the gear shift all the way down in gear 2 or whatever so it's not in the way and you'll have to wiggle the panel some to get the pocket on the left to come out of it's hole.

Please don't respond to old threads. This is nearly 2 years old.
