You may just need to burn the mp3's onto a cd then the car stereo player would read the cd. A friend of mine did this and had about 300 songs on one cd... I just got used to waiting for radios to warm up and the confusion of 8 Tracks. Just funny but I don't like cassetts discs or anything else in my own car so I never bothered with intense stuff but loved the latest and greatest in the 1970s and had it.
