Radio Install Sign In

A while ago someone broke into my dads car and stole the CD player leaving him with a missing back window and nothing to listen to on his long rides to and from work. Hes planning on getting a new car soon, but for christmas I just wanted to get him a cheap radio or tape player. I dont have much cash at all and really know nothing about cars. At the moment, all there is is a gaping hole with some disconnected wires in the dashboard. How difficult is it to set up a new radio? I know I havent given you much to go on, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, do they sell cheap radios or tape players or even CD players that you can just stick on top of the dashboard or on the ceiling, eliminating the need for me to mess with any wireing? Im so frustrated. Daddy really diserves more than he has and I wish I had the funds to give it to him. Please, any help to make Christmas special for a nice old man who looks like santa.Smile

Re: Radio Install Sign In

Check to see if they unplugged the radio leaving the connectors or if they just cut the wires leaving a mess. If the connectors are there, you can buy direct fit install kits that plug in to the vehicle harness and you connect the wires to the radio easily. If they cut the connectors out, you will need a wiring diagram to see which wire goes where. Let us know what you find. Reply back with the year, make, and model and let's see if someone here can't get you the diagrams to get this to go easily.
