I put an after market radio in my truck. It's a 1987 Ford F-150 4x4. My radio is on but there is NO sound coming out my speakers. My friends told me to check my connections going to my speakers, and i did and they were good. My radio will play music as long as the engie ain't running and after you drive it for a while with the radio off the radio will be HOT!!!! What do I need to do, all advice will be taken......

MILLITIME; If the speakers work with the engine off, I'd say that you've got the speakers wired correctly..Now, before you let the smoke out of the radio, I'd pull it and recheck your power and ground connections.
