I have a 2003 GMC Envoy XL SLE. I have a xm radio which I would like to conect to the radio speakers. I would like to connect without using radio stations because these have a lot of interference. I do not have a cassett player in the vehical to connect to. george warzynski

The noise interference is not electrical. The noise comes from an FM station that broadcasts near the FM station my XM radio And my vehical radio are tuned to. I drive long distances losing and gaining FM stations. george warzynski

I been reading some more on this and it seems that someone has come up with an adapter that you plug into the rear of the radio so you can have a aux port to plug into. It does require the removal of the radio for installation of the unit, but will give your XM reciever a direct line into the radio. Here is a link to an example: http://www.oemautosound.com/...y-input-adapter.aspx Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

XM and Sirius also make a part called an FM Direct Adapter. wich does work off of a radio station but it is hard wired . basically it works like a switch. when you have your sat. radio on it disconnects your outside antenna and pipes its signal into the radio through the antenna port. then when you want to listen to listen to normal radio just turn off your sat. radio and it reconnects the antenna like normal. that part usually costs about 20 bucks. use them all the time. and is alot cheaper than getting an adapter.
