I have a boss audio systems 9995b flip screen I purchased from sonix. Installed in my 2004 gran prix gt the stereo workeed flawlessly for over a year.
About a mounth or so ago the frequency scan started going off by itself. It would scan and remove my presets for about 15mins.
Recently I shut off engine and the flip screen is stuck open, when I turn the stereo on there is no display on touch screen. I was just wondering if this can be repaired or if any one has suggestions other than 'buy a new HU' because I have no money

Few things you need to check as the symtoms call for it.
With presets going missing it sounds like you memory wire is either touching your power wire and shorting OR is loose
With the panel being stuck open Check your power wire. Unsure if the constant power source (memory wire) is attached to the fold/unfold feature.
Check and let me know.
