I had my battery replaced when I was out of town. When I was on my way home I realized that my stereo works but all but 2 speakers crackle very loud. It's a factory stereo and it worked fine until they changed the battery. What would cause this. it's a 2000 Chrysler Concorde LXI. Is this a grounding issue? The battery is hooked up correctly.

check the ground connection.... also look around the battery for a wire they may have forgotten to connect back to the battery. It's also possible that they took out the radio to get the serial Number to reset it... since most radios will require a code to unlock then as an anti-theft feature. If you had this repaired at a shop... i would do a basic check around the battery and maybe have them check the connections behind the radio (If you cannot take out the radio yourself) since they would have the tool needed. This should be free and let them know that this happened after they changed the battery.
