97 honda crv
when we got this car fac stereo had been replaced with a sony cdx-L350. to make a long story short I tried putting in a pioneer deh 1100. it worked in a different car, but now not in the CRV. when i put it back in the other car (cavalier 2000) it wasnt working anymore-- must have fried it. I threw away the pioneer...
i returned the sony L350 to the Crv and it still worked (see Im not as dumb as I look!)
2 days later someone steals the face plate from our sony L350--only the face plate! I want to get my wife a new stereo for the CRV, but I am afraid I could blow it up like the pioneer.
Are wiring brackets the same for same brands? if I got her another sony would that lessen my chances to burn it? or would the wiring harness for one sony not nessarilly be the same for another sony?
