03 Explorer ABS light on

I posted this a few weeks ago, and either got no response or missed it; so here goes again: I just replaced the right front bearing assembly with a new sensor. After the repair, the ABS light came on. Is there a way to check the new sensor on the new bearing without removing it and replacing it with the old sensor?

Pretty sure a code reading for the ABS system can help narrow it down as to whether it's that bearing/sensor or why the light is on. If brakes are right and feel good otherwise with the light on it should default to regular braking action as if it didn't have ABS at all, T
