Hi, I have a 2004 Ford Mustang. It is a V6, standard transmission. My turn signals are not working. I have replaced the bulbs, checked all the fuses, replaced the flasher relay and replaced the turn signal switch. I bought a used signal switch from a pick-a-part type place but everything works on it besides the turn signal, not thinking the switch is the problem, just want to be 100% transparent and thorough. The hazards work and flash, the headlights work hi and low, the running lights work, the brake lights work. The turn signal switch physically holds it's place, up and down, as if it was working, but no lights come on and nothing happens. Everything works across the board except the turn signal lights don't come on. No fast blinking or staying on, they just don't do anything. I am completely lost as to what I should try next. Please help.

Check all the fuses you see in the diagram using a test light with the key on. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Off the wall maybe: Put on your hazards and feel the flasher you replaced. If that one is ticking by touch it's not the one for the turn signals - easy mistake if not marked and might NOT be the one in a fuse/relay box? T

No, they both use the same flasher.

Well, I was waiting for a day off to check all those fuses and now my car won't start. I really don't think the problems are related, I think it's just my luck, but now I have to replace either the alternator, the solenoid or the starter, whichever it turns out to be before I can mess with the turn signal problem. One weird thing before the starting problem: the last time I drove it the radio starting turning on and off by itself which I'm thinking might be related to the signal problem. I don't think the battery is dead because everything is getting ample power and it just clicks when I try to start it and nothing dies. Last time it was the battery in a different car it just froze up everything when I'd try to start it. I'm not sure what to do at this point, but I'm going to start with getting the battery tested, then getting it towed to somewhere I can pull out the starter and alternator and go from there. Once I get it started I can look at the turn signals again. I'm thinking I may need to replace the wiring harness.
