04 Ram Lt Turn Signal for Tailgate Light Not Working Sign In

I recently installed a tailgate LED strip on my truck. It plugged right into my 4-way trailer connector and I spliced the reverse into the factory tail light harness. Everything worked fine: running light, reverse, brake, right signal - except for the left turn signal. My actual left turn signal for my tail light works fine so I'm guessing something is up with the truck's factory 4-way harness. How could I go about diagnosing this? Or would it just be more worth it to cut the wire from the light strip and splice it directly to the truck's turn signal? Let me know what y'all think! Thanks

* I did wanna note it does look like a previous owner has toyed with the harness in some way but I can't figure out what for *

Check fuse number 46 (15A). That is dedicated to that wire.
Make sure you are on the yellow wire.

If these things check out good, then you likely have a bad IPDM (fuse box)
