Hello....Van with 4.8 and 90,000 mi. sat for 3 days (rare for me) and then dead battery. Charged it and started fine. Since nothing was left on since last use, started investigating. Alternator putting out 14v and can take a load. Large sparking between disconnect negative lead and battery terminal. Ammeter readings between disconnected negative lead and battery terminal got the following results with key removed, doors closed and everything turned off. 960ma 530ma with radio fuse pulled 65ma with radio and instrument cluster fuses pulled Do those two fuses have any relation to each other or do I have two drains? TY

Did you give it sufficient time for all the modules to time out? How long and how did you do that? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I left the van sit overnight with the negative cable off of battery...then did the readings. I opened the driver's door to open hood, but with the battery disconnected i believed the modules never activated? When I drove it the day before, I disconnected the battery immediately after shutting engine down. Could that be where I possibly went wrong.....should've left the modules time to time out before disconnecting battery? Any help greatly appreciated!!!
