'06 Ford 500 Rear Dome Light No Coming On

'06 Ford 500 duratec V6, 88k mi
When I opened the door on my car this evening the rear dome light did not come on. The front dome light game on as usual. The rear dome light would come on using the switch on the light, but not the switch on the instrument panel. Any ideas?

? Check the switch at the rear light it probably has 3 different positions and is left in the wrong one for your liking,
