08 crown vic no rev. lights Sign In

2008 crown vic police package has no reverse lights ... checked for power while in reverse (none) ... checked fuses (all good) ... cant find break in wire ... neutral safety switch OK ... DO NOT have volt meter only test light.....

good question... all I have to test with is a test light so I checked for power and had it then I decided to just go ahead and change the switch since I had another on hand ... same problem no back up lights ... ??????????????

It's a pretty basic circuit. Power into the range sensor on purple with key on and power out in reverse on the blk/pk and from there it goes right out to the lights so you need to start testing at the wire out of the range sensor.
