#18 speedometer fuse keeps blowing on my 96 ford f150 6cyl 4.9L.
Happened as I was driving down the highway, noticed my speedometer stopped working, & transmission was shifting gears hard. Anybody have any idea what could be causing the fuse to keep blowing?

That controls a speedometer module in the instrument cluster and either that or the related wiring is shorted.
