1967 pontiac firebird tail lights

Hello, I have wiring diagrams and have basically taken the car apart and still have no tail lights. #1 Is it possible that the turn indicator switch has something to do with it? Question #2 is there any difference except for the back up lights and the light on the indicator of the shift column between the console shift and the column shift harness? I took the column shift off and installed a console automatic in it. As most of you know the wiring diagrams are terrible from GM. Help would be very much appreciated

If you have the wiring diagram then you should be able to follow it to the problem. Check your fuses. The tail lights and dash lights share the same fuse. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
