I need help figuring out what keeps burning out these control modules. I have no engine codes. but I have put two on this truck already and the first one lasted about a week the second one lasted 10 minutes. if anyone has any idea what the voltage is coming from computer to the control module will help there is four wires not sure of the color. and then there are two coming from the coil pack. any info would be appreciated.

Could be several things. Poor quality replacement module, not putting heat sink compound on the module, ignition coil that has is shorted and allowing secondary ignition to back feed into the primary, and/or poor ground.

If you replace the module, its a good idea to replace the pickup coil too. Use AC Delco parts if you can.

I would definitely replace the ignition coil. That is the most likely suspect.
