Hi, the divers side power window on my 91 Cierra is giving me problems. It goes down okay but when you try and close it it only goes so far and stops. You have to wait a few seconds and then it will go farther. It actually take several minutes to get it up all the way. I tryed changing the main switch but that didn't help. Could it be the motor? Thanks, Rocky

''Could it be the motor? '' Maybe. Without being there I'd also suspect the rubber that window slides in is worn and perhaps if silicone spray helps a lot could be the problem along with go old lubing up the moving parts. That rubber uses a felting to assist the "slipperyness" of the window to rubber and may be all worn out now especially with an older car and the driver's window. If some spray really helps or solves it temporarily then decide on using that frequently or replacing the rubber which might be hard to find in great shape used or very expensive new if easily avalable at all, T
