I have a 93 Chevy c1500 4wd with a 305 and 5 SPD and noticed while under the hood (just bought the truck) there is no connector or wires I can c for the temp gauge on the side of the block and also the oil switch as well. the oil switch looks like a one pin and the temp switch is a prong connector or whatever u call it lol.....can anyone tell me where to find these wires and see if the connectors are gone or how to install them. thanks!

They should be coming right out of the harness in the area. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

a 1993- A temp switch is in cylinder head approx between plugs 1 & 3. a single green wire. The wire for the switch comes out of the harness that splits behind the alternator. oil pressure is a switch mounted - top rear of engine next to the DIST-- harness breaks out of main harness attached to firewall. - what is not workiing? what codes does it show? might help ID what you seee PS there is also a temp sensor in manifold at the thermostat...

It sounds like he has located the sensors, just not the wires that go to them.

They have to be there somewhere. If not, at least the stub where the wire was cut off. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

reread my post I described where the wires break out of main harnesses - even the color -green- of wires...the other-oil sensor- would have the male connector to ID the wires...
