The backup lights are inoperative and the shift position indicator light is not lit either. As far as I can determine, there is no fuse for those lights. The bulbs are new and I have ground on the socket, but zero voltage at the center pin. Is the switch under the shift in the center console or under the car at the transmission ? Help help help. And thanks in advance.

On the automatic transmission, the back up lamp switch is part of the Park/Neutral Position Switch(neutral safety switch),mounted on the transaxle.
Manual transmission has a different switch on the manual transaxle as well.. Jim
