I am looking at the blower motor. I lost power to switch and believe the wiring comes in behind the glove box. Fuse is good, and the fan works when jumped. I am not getting voltage to switch. Is it the same as old gm reostate or am I barking up wrong tree?? In which case what can I do?? Thankyou Ted

Yep, your barking up the wrong tree. There isn't supposed to be any power from the switch. The switch controls the ground side of the circuit. The motor should be receiving power all the time with the key one.
