I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee with 174k miles on it so it's always one thing or another at this point. I went to start it up on Friday only to get the repetitive clicks from the starter but no engine start-up. I still had electrical power to all the lights and other things inside the car. I let it sit over the weekend and checked it on Monday. Now I'm getting no starter clicks and it seems I have lost all power to lights and other things. I was at first thinking I might have a bad starter but am now suspicious of the battery. What do yall think?

Start with the battery. Sounds like it's junk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
