1998 Subaru Legacy Sedan Crank/No Start

I have a 1998 subaru legacy L Sedan that ended up dying after the ground cable came off, did not know the alternator was bad before this happened, After replacing the alternator and charging the battery the car will crank but will not start. The car has spark and compression but has no fuel, checked the fuel pump relay and it is good, fuel pump kicks on if hooked directly to a battery, the fuseable link in the fuse box is good, no blown fuses or relays, and yes there is gas in the tank lol. Would anyone have an Idea what I may be missing? I know if the battery cables get disconnected while the car is running it can cause a short in the system but everything works perfectly fine except getting fuel. I sprayed gas into the intake and it runs just fine for a couple seconds, all electrical works and the anti theft is not blinking. any help would be most appreciated.

You need to test all your fuses carefully using a test light.
Here's your wiring diagram

Thank you for the respond, I went through all the relays and fuses with a test light and used a volt meter on all power supplies and grounds, I managed to find the issue this morning with a technical fix, I smacked the fuel pump with a rubber mallet with the key on and it kicked on, as far as I can tell the fuel pump must of been weak prior to the alternator going out and the sudden stop finished it off.

That is the interesting part of it since somehow the pump being connected directly to the battery did make it start but not when it was connected to the car correctly, my only guess is maybe the difference in power supply.

It could have run but still had insufficient pressure. That's why using a fuel pressure gauge is always the best way to test the fuel system.
I'll close this now as solved.
