Hey everyone. Yesterday I parked to go inside the gas station, and my car was completely fine when I went inside. Upon getting back into my car, I noticed the gear shift was stuck in park and I couldn’t put it into gear without pressing the shift lock release. Upon further inspection I noticed that the power wasn’t working at all, no windows, a/c, windshield wipers, radio, turn signals, headlights and tail lights, nothing. Also my gauge cluster stopped working entirely so I can’t see my rpm’s, speed, or engine temp. Despite all of this, my car started just fine. I’m still driving my car but I have absolutely no electricity or lighting. What do you think I should check first?

You probably burned out one of the maxi fuses that feed all those accessories. Look at all the fuses 30 A or higher. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
