2000 chevy cavalier pls help!

my 2000 chevy cavalier all of a sudden won't start everytime i try to turn it on the horn honks please help!

Inspect the battery connections. Make sure they are free of corrosion and are tight. If that is the case, have the battery tested.

Also make sure you didn't trigger an aftermarket alarm with the poor battery connection.

i had my hubby take battery off and clean posts but it was workin fine before that i just turned it off and vacummed it then when i went to start it .. it just would honk when i turned the key

You have to disable the alarm system. Must be an aftermarket alarm system that is installed. The factory content theft system doesn't disable the starter.

Most of them have a remote that isn't factory. Most of the time they are installed behind the dash on the driver's side. There will be a box with wiring that doesn't look factory. How long have you had this vehicle?

about a month... i swear it was like bait car lol i bought it from my sister she had it for 7 mths before that and no problems until today
