Babysitting the Jeep while son-in-law overseas with military. Tried to start yesterday and no reponse. No click indicating low battery. Fully charged the battery and tried to jump start. No response. Electrical works-lights, radio, etc. Does this sound like a bad connection or bad part? Battery was bad so replaced it, but still wont turn over.

Have the battery charged and tested first. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Check for power arriving at the small wire of the starter with the key in "start" position.

Spent a couple of hours messing with the car today. Cleaned everything I could find. No start. Rechecked and made sure everything was secure. Bingo it turned over!!! Runs great. The wife came screaming out of the house-YOU GOT IT STARTED! She thought I was the hero. But you are the hero. Thanks much for your help. We were just in Florida last week, but one day would like to give you my geasy hand a good hand shake with you. Again Thanks. Art
