What about if you jump that purple wire to the main starter terminal with the battery cable on it? What happens then? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

In addition to HTs request, check all your fuses....there is a 10a crank fuse

it will start thats where i got the pushbutton I just wanted to make sure that you were getting your power source at the starter and not the battery. If that is the case, then you are losing power in the rest of the circuit somewhere, possibly the ignition switch . park/neutral switch, relay, etc. I just put a new ignition switch in and a new relay did,nt put a new neutral switch in but did jump across it only has two wires. i have power at one of the four wires at the relay.if i pull the relay and jump from the power wire to the one next to it i can get it to turn over

Not everything can be cured by throwing parts at it. It needs to be systematically diagnosed with a wiring diagram and a test light.

I don't have a diagram handy but on the relay 2 terminals should have power. one is constant power and the other terminal will have power when the key is turned to the start postions......On the other 2 legs, one goes to the starter the other one is a ground for the control side of the relay. I would also look by the column and make sure no after market alarms have been installed. If there is you will see a factory yellow wire cut in 2 & spliced into the alarm. If you jump these two cut wires together and the truck cranks, it's an alarm problem.... How did you check the fuses????

That sounds like an aftermarket alarm. If there are 2 heavy yellow wires going to a relay that is connected to a small floating box, cut them both and connect them together.
