Driver's side headlight, with new lamp, still not working. I tried the new lamp in the passengers side to make sure it's good. It lit up fine on the passenger side. Then I checked the fuse under the hood. The fuse is fine. I was in advised on another forum that it might be the CTM. I was told to find the purple and white wire on the CTM, and to carefully stick a paperclip into it, and then stick the positive part of a multimeter in with the paper clip. I did this and got a reading of 12.15v with the headlights turned on and 11.98v with the headlights turned off. This is where it stands now. I don't no what those multimeter readings mean in regards to the condition of the ctm. Basically I'm completely stuck, with no driver side headlight. Any advice will be appreciated. Test the wires on driver's side BOTH FOR POWER AND GROUND, especially the ground. It's old (can and deal with it) look for lack of ground I expect you to find as things get operated by adding grounds, doubt this but expect no ground found on a hunch - go looking for where that wire goes, Tom Sidom Veteran / Moderator Apr 10, 2023, 8:33 PM Post #3 of 3 (1093 views) Re: 2002 Dodge Durango: driver's side headlight not working Sign In You backprobed the low beam output wire coming from the Central Timer Module. They are making this way harder than it has to be since you said the right side is working. Just grab a test light and go to the connector for the left headlight. Check for power on the violet wire with the low beams on and then the light green/brown wire with the the high beams on. If they both have 12v then hook your test light clip to the battery positive terminal, touch any metal surface to make sure it lights up and then test the black wire, it should light up.
