I have 2002 Ford F. 250 diesel I was driving down the highway today it just stopped like you turned the key off when I came to a stop I tried to restart it it would turn over but no ignition. I then realized I had no power to the gauges no glow plug light, no water temperature, no fuel gauge all registered like I never turned the key on so the engine will crank over but I get no ignition. I recently received a letter of recall for the cam positioning sensor. the tow truck driver who seems semi-knowledgeable didn't seem to think that that was a problem. so I was just wondering if you had any thoughts

I have gone through all the fuses and they all check out good.

When you say you’ve checked all the fuses; did you check them with a test light or voltmeter; making sure there was power too and through the fuses? There might be a fusible link burnt out that feeds the fuse panel; knocking out a portion of the panel?
Just guessing; don’t do a whole lot of work on diesels; they stink. LOL

I checked all the fuses with a dvom they all read good through and through the main fuse also. the horn works, the lights, radio.heater. wipers......ect. the only thing I don't have is the things that were mentioned in the dashboard no gauges check engine light glow plug light....ect. it's almost like the ignition fuses blown or part of the ignition because the truck turns over. I did check 2 fuses that I thought should have power and did not they were ignition fuses and actually shown negative voltage like.670 and did not show voltage when cranking. I'm not a fan of diesels either especially when they break down.
