My 2002 Hyundai Elantra has an unusual headlight problem. The right hi-beam-drl retaining clip turns blood red and will burn your finger upon touch. The light will work if activated but within a matter of minutes the clip becomes hot--hot to the point it has burned the finish from the tip of the clip;the left headlight has no such problem. I have checked and cleaned my grounds but that makes no difference. Any and all suggestions are welcome. HGRMQ2

I am thinking your clip may be somehow connected to power. If you have cleaned the grounds, then the connection should be safe. I would have a look and make sure my power wire isnt spliced onto that clip somehow. I have never seen this before, CRAZY
