2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet 3.0 litre 90k miles Having issues with anything electrical controlled from the steering wheel controls as well as the climate control. Initial symptom was the car turning on and the temperature display showing Celsius rather than Fahrenheit. I thought this was an issue with the ignition switch, a known source of problems with these cars. I went ahead and replaced it today and no change. Next thought was it might be a fuse, but strangely there have been brief periods (< 5 minutes) when the problems disappear. Seems like a fuse doesn't fit this. Evaluation of the symptoms: Can flash high beams Can't set high beams to stay on No climate control No turn signals No cruise control Radio works Steering wheel radio controls don't work Temperature in Celsius

Not my specialty ever for a brand of car but smacks of something like this car got seriously wet or flooded at some point. Still not sure but can't think of one thing that would cause all that trouble except a water (dirty or rain) problem. An insurance claim if it was and while you owned it, T

Do you have an Airbag warning light on? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Not sure when it would have gotten wet. I've owned the car for several years and nothing unusual has happened with it, to my knowledge. And, funny enough, I live in an area that has been suffering a drought. No airbag warning. No warnings of any kind.
