2003 Saturn Vue Stalling and Dying Sign In

2003 Saturn Vue
V6 3.0L FWD
112,700miles. Hello, my name is Tyler. I've had problems with the vehicle listed above stalling and dying while driving down the road. If I put it in Neutral and turn the key it will start back up and I can continue to drive until it dies again, sometimes a few miles down the road, and other times it wont happen for a few days. I've replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump. This morning I actually drove it out of the dealership from having the fuel pump replaced and it died while I was on the way home. I'm certain the fuel system isn't the problem and I'm beginning to think its electrical. I only paid $500 for it so its still worth fixing. its in great shape, this is the only problem it has. It starting stalling on my grandpa and he sold it to me since I was driving a car older than I am. I appreciate any advice.

Why was the fuel pump replaced? Was it replaced because of this issue or a different problem?

Will it stall sitting and idling or only when driving?

Odds are good that this will require a high end scan tool and experience with driveability issues to get this sorted, but will help as much as possible.

We had it diagnosed and the code for the fuel pump came up. I replaced it thinking it was the fuel pump going out causing it to stall and die. But now the check engine light isnt on and its still stalling out on me. It will stall while idling and while driving. But always starts right back up.

There is no code that tells you that you have a bad fuel pump or any other component for that matter. Codes merely recognize a specific situation that the tech needs to determine the cause of.

You had a lean code. All that code means is that the computer has reached it's adaptive limits to correct a lean issue. that's very rarely caused by a bad fuel pump. The first thing to look for is a vacuum or intake snorkel leak.
