I have a 2003 chevy silverado. The right rear running light isn't working. I replaced the bulb and the socket and the fuse is good. All the other stuff works. Backup light turn signal brakes on both side but just the constant running one doesn't work. Please help.

Any fuse would take them all out. Test for power with a test light at the socket not just by looks and "T" pin check back of plug if nothing shows inside. Other always a maybe with trucks is trailer wiring gone bad. If non OE a wire may have tapped a wire for running lights and messed up there. New bulb or not make sure it works or swap with a known one that does. You should be able to find this with just a common test light - cheap one fine for this if it stays showing in pic.... T

"Running Lights" > If one side works and the other doesn't? Not a fuse. Trailer wiring always on my list as some folks just tap wires rather than use or buy the plug for simple ones? I think the power wire starts from the left side and runs along to the right possibly spit connector at bulb socket on good side? T

No, it does not. The rear running lights and trailer lights are all independent circuits, even left and right. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

HT, read what I wrote. Someone and even places that rent trailers just find a hot wire for what right at the bulb(s) on one side or both and skip existing (if all have it at all?) trailer wiring harness. OP said just one side which isn't making a lot of sense yet. Need some test results. That's all, T

This truck is already equipped with trailer wiring that is totally separate from the truck lighting circuit. It has 3 independent circuits going to the rear of the truck for running lights alone.... left and right tail lights and a separate feed for trailer lights so it has a problem with one specific circuit that supplies one light only.

Who know jack yet? May not have trailer or ever used. Wait a bit as one filament doesn't seem to light, T
