2004 chrysler intrepid.

i get in my car and the alarm ( which i have never used, i bought the car used and the remote she gave me was broken and i never bothered getting it fixed) starts going off and wont stop even after starting it and locking and unlocking the doors. so i ripped the ground off the siren just to shut it up. it still went off even when i brought it home and reattached the ground so i took the siren out entirely but the lights are still flashing and i am just completely lost as to what to do. the lights still flash when the car is off. i honestly dont want the alarm at all and cant find a fuse or anything to do with the alarm

Look for a Valet button or switch around the lower part of the dash somewhere. If you find it, turn the key on, hit the button ot switch and shut the key off and that should put it in valet mode. If it doesn't work, you will just have to get it removed and rewired back to it's original layout.
