04 quest battery not charging, new altinator installed, battery is 6 months old, fusrs all good. What else can it be

Nothing else......................

You must have either a bad alternator or you missed a fuse. Don't overlook the main 140A fuse.

Thank you for your assistance. One more thing,,, do you think that the altinator harness could cause the same issue by not relaying charge to the battery?? Just curious.

The line that carries the current back to the battery is the one with the 140A fuse so that is the weak point of the line.

Bare or broken wires can always be the problem but you should be able to see burnt or damaged wiring.
