2005 Lin. Aviator Battery Issue

I have a 2005 Aviator that has some strange battery drain when it's parked, but used. That is to say I drive somewhere (like the recent fireworks show), park the vehicle, and go in and out of it to get the chairs out, etc. Maybe turn on the ACC just to roll down a window, then remove the key again, maybe open the doors 5 or 6 times over the next hour as the kids get cold, etc. So there is some in and out traffic to the vehicle, without starting the car, and only the one activation of the Accessory position once to roll down a window. Then when we get in the car to go, it won't turn over - just the tell-tale clicking noise that sounds like a dead battery. While it needs a jump to get started (even from a motorcycle will do the trick), the battery isn't dead. Regular driving to and from work NEVER produces the problem. Only if we have to go in and out of the car a few times in an hour or so. I have also noticed that a couple of times a week, the remote unlock will only unlock the drivers' door. The others have to be unlocked by the armrest button. Any ideas???? Thanks in advance!!

First thing is to have the battery tested before going after any parasitic drain or charging system faults. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
