2006 Hyundai Tucson Ignition Problem

I have a 2006 Hyundai Tucson that, about once a day, when I go to shut the car off and take the key out, it doesn't register that the key is out of the ignition. When I open the door, the door chime thing sounds like the key is still in, the lights stay on, and I have to touch the key to the ignition or actually put the key in again and take it out for it to register that the key is indeed out of the ignition. I have taken it to my local Hyundai Dealer and they can't seem to re-create the issue or find a cause for it.. I have not been able to find out if there is anything else like this happening anywhere on-line, but it seems like there is a short in my ignition and I am afraid that it may cause further problems. Has anyone heard of anything like this and is there something that can be done to fix it?!?!

You could try putting a small amount of wd-40 into the key slot and work the key in and out several times . LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH
