Hey guys this is my first time posting because. I'm getting some car troubles.
My car's a 2006 Ford Mustang.

Well here's my problem. I have had the car for around 3 months so far, and two times within those months the cars horn just started going off randomly, and this is not just like the cars horn just being held. It beeps for a second, stops for two seconds, beeps for three seconds, stops for 1 second, for like two minutes. (It's not the alarm system sound, it's the horn sound.)

The first time I was at school parking lot picking up my brother, he wanted to put something in the trunk, so while I was sitting in the drivers seat, and I start clicking the trunk button on my keys, and the horn starts blowing. So I just step out of the car and it turns of by itself.

The second time again it was at school in the morning. I parked my car and started walking away, as I pressing the lock door thing in my keys, I didn't hear the two beep sounds to know it locked, so I let go and hold the thing again, and it starts with the horn thing. So I go back up to it and just wait for it to shut off.

All I know about cars, is what I learned by myself which isn't to much yet, but I'm getting there.

Could anyone help me to see whats going on?

Does your car alarm use the horn?? I know most alarms when activated give two blasts of the horn to signify arming and one to show unarmed.
It sound like that system is malfunctioning. If you can pull the alarms power or the fuse that runs the alarm and see what happens .

It really seems thats the problem. If not then you have a short in the horn circuit but that seems highly unlickely as it would happen all the time when driving etc..

I am sure it is your alarm connections some where

Nah, my car's alarm does give two beeps, but it's not horn beeps, its the alarm beeps (can here the difference in the noise)
Like you said about it malfunctioning, that's pretty much what I was thinking to, or maybe it's the key fob but just needed to make sure.

But ima gonna try that, and see what happens.
