Have two original key fobs. One will not open doors, but will start ignition. Other will open doors and starts ignition. Have replaced batteries in both fobs. No change, same problem. From what I found on the internet, I can get a replacement fob from Amazon for $10. However, I need two working keys to program it. Only have one good one. Dealer wants $180 for key fob and $60 to program it. Is there any way to program a replacement fob with one good key?

No, there is not. There may be cheaper places than the dealer but there is no way around the programming. They actually have to program two different things, the immobilizer to start the vehicle and the keyless entry transmitter. You should be able to buy the key blank online and bring it to a locksmith for cutting and programming. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
