2008 E350SD, 5.4 auto 275K. Engine won't crank, no flashing anti-theft. Bypassed starter relay and it runs, but no climate control/blower motor, no turn signals. Pinned Ign. switch, no power out on a couple of circuits feeding fuse panel. Contacts good, replaced ign. switch, no change. HELP!

You checked power coming out of the ignition switch. How about the power coming in?

Check fuse F7 (60A) in the battery box under the hood. Make sure it has power on both sides.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Re: 2008 E350 no crank Sign In

Sorry, already checked ckt1050, including F7, 60A. Using pin chart on AutoZone website, shows 4 10 Ga. wires GN/BK, only 2 on actual connector, also a 10 Ga. BK/GN and 18 Ga. BK/GN, all being hot at all times. Wondering if something is inaccurate, as in another feed that's a different colour, although all 'key in run' and 'key in start' wires are correct. It seems too obvious with (hopefully) good feeds and no power to F6, 7, 12 and 13 on interior fuse panel would point to the switch. As I'm typing, I'm really starting to think wiring diagram may be the issue. Any links to another reliable source, free preferably but I'd spend $40 for an accurate manual rather than $400 at the dealer. I have my ticket, got out 10 years ago, so I can find my way around, although I was a GM Tech.

Autozone is about the only free site out there but there diagrams are rarely accurate.

Re: 2008 E350 no crank Sign In

Problem solved. You were correct in that the wiring diagram was totally inaccurate. Traced 18 gage BK/GN wire to fuse panel, F37, 15A was blown. Tried old switch and it blew again, internal short in switch that blew fuse. At least I didn't replace it for nothing. Thanks guys for your help, hope this helps someone in the future. Cheers
