2010 Mazda 2 electric window problem

Drivers side window functions ok when ignition is on but engine not running when engine running window will go down but not return up until engine is turned off.

There is no such vehicle here in the US so I have no info on the wiring. I see you are in Australia.
I see no connection in whether the engine is running or not. The electrical circuit should be separate of any engine management circuits.
I guess the next step would be to check voltages arriving at the switch and see if it's changing when the engine is running.
