New guy here needs help! I've got a 1987 VW Cabriolet convertible that is having blinker problems. Just bought the car...fuses were blown...I replaced fuses and blinker/hazard relay. I also replaced the hazard switch because it was causing the relay to go crazy. Here's what the blinkers are doing: With all blinkers (wiring) connected: Relay blinks fast, lights dim and brighten but are blinking too fast to actually turn on and off, then usually the fuse blows. With front driver's side blinker disconnected: Rear blinkers blink normal and neither front blinker works Any ideas what I can check or do? Thanks! Mike

look along the wires for a spot where it has rubbed through and is allowing a short to ground. Probably in your front light since the problem changed when that was disconnected.
