88 suzuki Samurai electrical help

I have an 88 Samurai and just recently a fuse link on the positive terminal on the battery shorted out causing my electrical system to go crazy. Now when i start the car the wind shield wipers dont turn off and high beam indicator light stays on after car is shut off. I fixed the fuse link but now my battery continues to die. After recharging the battery i put a meter on it and i can slowly watch the voltage drop on the battery. Whats my problem? mhy does the battery die and my electrical do all this weird stuff now?

That is strange and would be something I needed to see to be able to help with???
The only thing I can think of from here is; is there anything that it not working? If so that may have been what burnt out the fuse link in the first place and now is drawing on the battery?
